Community and Public Events(Pre Covid)


Annual S.M.A.R.T. Carnival:

Childern of all ages have the opportunity to use a scroll saw, many for the first time, to create their own puzzle. Guild member volunteers their time, their own saws, and puzzles for the event. This event is one of the most popular booths at the Carnival held in March.

After Hours Program Ponderosa Middle School:

Since 2017 the Guild has provided exposure to the art of woodworking. Guild members have provided their time and equipment for after hour events. Their is hands on training for items such as scroll saw, lathe work, and more.

International migratory Bird Day Event:

The Guild provides pre-cut wood for building birdhouses. Volunteers help children of all ages build their own birdhouse. This event was held at Veterans Park in Klamath Falls in May.
